5 Reasons to Get Whelmed for Young Justice: Outsiders [Trailer]

After years of waiting #DarkKnight #DCUniverse,  # YoungJustice  is finally returning for a third season!  Young Justice: Outsiders  will premiere exclusively right here on #DCUniverse on Friday, January 4 th .  The  Young Justice: Outsiders  trailer  landed online yesterday, and, in the words of the great American philosopher Bart Allen...it’s totally crash! There are so very many things in the trailer to get whelmed over. Let’s break down a few of them! Batman and the Outsiders The trailer showed us the Outsiders in action! For those who don’t know, the Outsiders was Batman’s covert ops group formed in the 1980s (read their first appearance  here ), so the Dark Knight had a team of his own that didn’t have to worry about the legalities and red tape the Justice League did. DC has renewed its original show Titans for a second season

DC Universe premiered the first two episodes of its original show Titans last night at New York Comic Con, and while the show won’t officially launch on the streaming platform until October 12th, the company announced that it has already renewed the show for a second season. Titans  is the first of several live-action TV shows that DC will launch on its new streaming service. A darker take on the classic Teen Titans superhero team, it follows Dick Greyson and Raven as they team up with Starfire and Beast Boy to foil a plot that threatens the world. Henry Cavill Out as Superman Amid Warner Bros.' DC Universe Shake-Up (Exclusive)

iStock; Courtesy of Warner Bros. Talks broke down for a cameo in 'Shazam!' due to scheduling conflicts, and the door is now closing on other potential appearances for the actor. The DC cinematic universe appears to be losing its Man of Steel. Henry Cavill, who has played Superman in three films, is parting ways with Warner Bros., sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. Though neither side is confirming, the British actor, who first donned the blue suit for 2013's Man of Steel, and then starred in 2016's Batman v. Superman and last year's Justice League, is said to be hanging up the red cape. Warners had been trying to enlist Cavill, who most recently co-starred in Mission: Impossible — Fallout, for a Superman cameo in Shazam!, which stars Zachary Levi and will bow April 5.
