New Rumors Point to YouTube TV Taking Over NFL Sunday Ticket

#NFL #SundayTicket  #YouTubeTV  #Football For some time now we have heard that Google was aiming to buy rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket when its contract expires after the 2021-2022 season. Over the weekend, YouTube’s head of product was seen sitting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell at the Minnesota Vikings vs San Francisco 49ers game. Google is not the only one trying to get these rights. Amazon is also reportedly working on getting rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket and al

Why Giants left out Leonard Williams in pivotal Eagles moment

#LeonardWilliams #NFL #NewYorkGiants With the game on the line, Leonard Williams was watching. For the first six plays of the Eagles’ Monday night overtime possession that would result in a  game-winning touchdown , the former Jet defensive lineman was on the sideline. “We had a rotation going and that’s basically it,” Giants coach Pat Shurmur said Tuesday. Williams, dealt from the Jets to Giants in exchange for a third-round pick in 2020 and a 2021 fifth-round pick, was having a quality game, despite receiving just 51 of 89 defensive snaps. He had five solo tackles, one tackle for loss and deflected a Carson Wentz pass. He also was called for a rougher-the-passer penalty. “For whatever it’s worth, I felt like the interior defensive linemen were pretty disruptive, and we liked the rotation we had to keep them fresh throughout,” Shurmur said. There was a costly miscommunication, between experienced veterans, on the Eagles’ game-winning 2-yard touchdown pass from Wentz to

Jalen Ramsey:The Man, The Mouth, The Legend

#JalenRamsey #NFL Before he was named an All-Pro cornerback, before he was punched by A.J. Green, before he was suspended for s--t-talking the media and then proceeded to s--t-talk the entire NFL, before he stood on the sideline of Jacksonville's field in a splendid shearling coat and predicted, incorrectly, that the Jaguars were going to go to the Super Bowl and "win that bitch" -- before any of those things happened -- Jalen Ramsey sat on a bench and cried. It was Nov. 20, 2016, and Jacksonville was about to lose to Detroit and drop to a dismal 2-8. With less than 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the camera lingered on the rookie cornerback for what felt like an eternity. His eyes welled up and he stared into the middle distance, shaking his head like a patient who had just received a devastating prognosis. It was a raw, gutting display of vulnerability and a rare glimpse into an athlete's psyche. While Ramsey is a fount of highlight-worthy plays and

NFL winners, losers: The Baltimore Ravens rise while the Chicago Bears are a mess

#NFL #BaltimoreRavens #ChicagoBears #NFC The NFL playoff picture  is tightening, and spots in the NFC are at a premium, where it looks like there are no more than eight squads that are viable contenders for the six playoff spots. The most exciting race in the conference is the NFC East, where the Dallas Cowboys took over control of first place with  a big victory against the Detroit Lions  and got some help later in the day when the  New England Patriots cut down the Philadelphia Eagles . Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson did more Lamar Jackson things and the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Houston Texans (who fall on the wrong side of this list below).  Here are  Week 11 ’s winners and losers. WINNERS Todd Gurley Due to injuries along the offensive line, the concern was that the L.A. O-line would be a weakness. In  a 17-7 victory against the Bears , it was just the opposite. The Rams had their fourth different combination of starting offensive linemen this season and feat
