Quincy Jones Documentary directed Rashida Jones an Alan Hicks for Netflix

Netflix is keeping it all in the family for its new documentary on Quincy Jones, directed by Alan Hicks and the jazz musician’s daughter Rashida Jones. The streaming giant announced Wednesday that the doc, titled “Quincy,” will debut on Netflix Sept. 21. “Quincy” will explore Quincy Jones’ life and career through a combination of modern day and archival footage, highlighting his musical evolution as a trumpeter, producer, conductor, composer, and arranger. “It’s rare that somebody who has lived as much life as my dad is still interested in growing and knowing the next generation,” Rashida Jones said. “He is such a man of action and accomplishments, but we were so lucky to spend real time with him, to let him reflect on life and the larger picture. Kendrick Lamar Songs Featuring SZA, Busta Rhymes & Michael Jackson Have Leaked

Unannounced Kendrick Lamar leaks point to foul play. About 48 hours ago, Kendrick Lamar 's unreleased material began piling up without his consent, precipitated by a leak of presumed collaboration with Busta Rhymes which also featured a consolidated effort from the one and only Michael Jackson. Seven other songs followed, one as polished as the other. Among them was an unfathomable posse cut featuring every key member of TDE , save for the elusive ScHoolboy Q , and another exclusively arranged around SZA's vocal efforts. Although the origins of this leak are still unknown, the files have been traveling as pack under the unofficial heading of Bad Kid Chill City EP. The Independent reports that a fan has even gone to such lengths to create cover artwork for the unborn project. It would be premature to speculate on the song grouping, to any extent possible, in spite of the many existing theories. The material doesn't bear a sonic tag that would tie it down to any period
