New Lawsuits Filed Against Beverly Hills Police Chief

#Discrimination #PoliceChief  #Lawsuit  #SandraSpagnoli #BeverlyHills #Complaints Four more lawsuits have been filed by Beverly Hills Police Department employees who claim they were marginalized, faced retaliation, or were denied workplace protections by the city and its Police Chief, Sandra Spagnoli. To date at least 10 Beverly Hills police employees, including a captain and two lieutenants, have filed legal complaints saying they've lost pay, benefits, and professional standing as a result of the Chief's actions. Spagnoli has not commented directly on the litigation. A statement from the Beverly Hills City Attorney said the city is, "deeply disappointed by the personal attacks on the integrity of our Police Department." One of the new cases was filed by Officer Anne Marie Lunsman who said she missed out on promotions and special assignments as a result of an alleged "hostile work environment." George Zimmerman sues family of Trayvon Martin, publisher, prosecutors for $100 million

#GeorgeZimmerman #TrayvonMartin #Lawsuit George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer acquitted of homicide charges in the 2012 fatal shooting of unarmed 17-year-old  Trayvon Martin  in Sanford, is suing Martin’s family, prosecutors and others involved in the case he claims rested on false evidence, according to a copy of the suit sent to the media Wednesday. Zimmerman is represented by Larry Klayman, a high-profile legal crusader tied to conservative causes and the founder of  Judicial Watch  before splitting with the activist group. The Polk County Circuit Court suit cites information in a documentary about the case titled “The Trayvon Hoax” that accuses the Martin family of engineering false testimony, and  the director  has scheduled a press conference this week in Coral Gables to coincide with a film screening there.
