Review: HBO’s ‘McMillions’ Reminds Us That Every Era Has Its Scam

#McDonalds #McMillions #Documentary #HBO A six-part documentary tells the story of the great 20th-century McDonald’s Monopoly fraud case with quirky characters and lackluster visuals. Oftentimes when listening to one of the dozens of excellent investigative podcasts I struggle to commit to, I’ll think, “this would make a great TV show.” When watching “ McMillions ,” a documentary series premiering on HBO Monday night, mostly I thought, “this would make a great podcast.” The story is wild: The McDonald’s Monopoly game, for some reason beloved in the 1980s and ’90s, was rigged. ‘60 Minutes’ will air ‘Game of Thrones’ final season sneak peek

Sneak peeks are coming. “60 Minutes” will screen an exclusive first look from the first episode of “Game of Thrones'” eighth and final season — hours before it premieres on HBO Sunday, the CBS show announced Wednesday. The news show also released a clip from Sunday’s special, which features Jon Snow actor Kit Harington giving Anderson Cooper a tour of the warehouse where the “Game of Thrones” props are kept, showing off dragon skulls, dead body dummies — and the severed head of his TV dad, Ned Stark. “That’s Ned’s head?!” exclaims Cooper, who describes the warehouse as like visiting a shrine. “Oh my god.” The special — which also features interviews with other cast members and author George R.R. Martin — will air 7 p.m. on April 14. By Ruth Brown April 10, 2019

Thankfully, there are plenty of easy ways to subscribe, even if you don't have cable . Game of Thrones season 8 schedule This last season will comprise six, supersize, hour-plus-length episodes. It will all be over -- sniff -- by mid-May.  Plan to clear out your  Sunday evenings at 9 p.m. (8 p.m. Central)  in the US, starting around tax day. Here's the schedule: Episode 1: April 14 Episode 2: April 21 Episode 3: April 28 Episode 4: May 5 Episod...
