Oscar-winners have been no stranger to the MCU – such as  Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel , Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia, or Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster. So, of course 2020 Oscar hopeful Cynthia Erivo is into it too. The 33-year-old actress has been a rising star in recent years, finding roles in Steve McQueen’s  Widows ,  Bad Times At the El Royale , and  playing an American hero in  Harriet . Angelina Jolie is getting ready to make her first foray into the world of superhero movies.  The Oscar-winning actress is in talks to star in Marvel Studios' The Eternals, a superhero team adventure feature being directed by Chloe Zhao. Jolie has chosen the Marvel project based on the Jack Kirby-created title about superpowered and near-immortal beings known as Eternals and a more monstrous offshoot known as the Deviants that were created by the cosmic beings called Celestials. While details about the movie are being kept under wraps, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that one aspect to the story involves the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans. ‘Daredevil’ Canceled By Netflix After 3 Seasons; Future In Other Marvel Projects

EXCLUSIVE: The ax continues to fall on Marvel’s series at Netflix. #Daredevil, which launched the #Marvel universe on the streaming platform, has been canceled after three seasons. The move comes on the heels of Netflix canceling Iron Fist and #LukeCage last month. “Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix,” the company said in a statement to Deadline. “We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note. We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and an incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. DATES Netflix announced the third season of “Daredevil” will launch Oct. 19.The series, based on the comic characters created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett, stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Joanne Whalley, Wilson Bethel and Jay Ali.
