Cardi B quits Instagram following drama over her Grammy win

#CardiB #Grammy Cardi B has had enough of the drama following her Grammy win for best rap album. Right after she picked up her award, BET sent out a tweet that pitted Cardi B against Nicki Minaj saying, “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.” Cardi B, 26, didn’t take that too well and posted, then deleted, an expletive-filled rant about the network and naysayers. A fan account captured the video. “It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else,” she said. “That’s not my type and that’s not what I’m with. I don’t support that.” Then Cardi B turned her attention to her detractors who said she didn’t deserve her award. “I’m seeing a lot of bulls–t today and I saw a lot of s–t last night, and I’m sick of the s–t. I work hard for my motherf—king album.” The mother of one added that she slept in the studio and worked around the clock — despite being pregnant. She has since deactivated her Instagram account — perhaps in an eff

7 artists who don't deserve their 2019 Grammy nominations — sorry

Major award shows are bound to make mistakes. It's unavoidable. Our challenge, then, is to sort through the uproar and find nominations that future generations will look back on with either rage or confusion. Here are seven artists whose nominations seem at least somewhat undeserving, in no particular order. Cardi B had a monumental year, but "Invasion of Privacy" isn't "Album of the Year" material. But that doesn't mean her debut st

Cardi B Explains Jet Ski Photo With Offset: "I Just Had To Get F-cked"

Cardi sets the record straight. Contrary to previous reports, Cardi B has asserted that her latest rendezvous with Offset in Puerto Rico was not the result of any reconciliation, but rather a transactional interaction when she and her ex were photographed on a jet ski in the Caribbean nation. On Saturday, Cardi took to Instagram to clear the air and give the backstory behind the photograph. According to the "Money" rapper, the jet ski instructor tricked Cardi into letting him take her picture “Let me tell you something about the jet ski n-gga, right?” she says in the video. “ The instructor or whatever the fuck he is — he was taking pictures of us on his phone like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna send you these pictures so you guys can have a memory and I’m going to delete it.’ I’m like, ‘Oh ok.’ View this post on Instagram Cardi B explains what happened with her and Offset in Puerto Rico.
