Heidi Klum's Shrek Halloween costume deserves an Oscar (seriously)

And the Oscar for Best Halloween Costume of 2018 goes to ... Heidi Klum. The "America's Got Talent" judge has always reigned supreme over Halloween, but this year her "Shrek" costume proved to be extra magical (with a hint of fairy-tale dust). Klum chose Princess Fiona as her green inspiration, she revealed on  Instagram  Wednesday, and no, the former "Project Runway" host did not simply put a mask over her famous face. Instead, the model underwent what looks like  hours  of prosthetics and makeup for her pitch-perfect ogre princess. Klum's boyfriend of six months, Tom Kaulitz,  was similarly adorned  in mega-green as Shrek. Her previous epic costumes include last year's  Michael Jackson "Thriller" look , the time she dressed  as Jessica Rabbit , and year she went as an old woman. "You have to feel amazing in (your costume)," she told USA TODAY  recently . "You look in the mirror and you’re like, ‘Yeah, that’...

8 celebrity Halloween costumes that failed

It’s that time of year again. From Kim Kardashian to Heidi Klum, Hollywood’s A-list celebs love Halloween. And while some love to go all out for the costume holiday and are remembered for their over-the-top looks, there are a few stars who are remembered for taking their costumes a step too far. Whether they were offensive, confusing or downright boring, here is a list of some of the worst celebrity Halloween costumes. Tara Reid’s sexy Santa Claus costume Tara Reid dons a Santa Claus costume while out in Hollywood on Oct. 30, 2016 in Los Angeles, Calif. (Photo by BG001/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images) In 2016, The “Sharknado” star took the sexy costume idea into a different season when she dressed up as a sexy version of Santa Claus. While the Christmas-themed costume isn’t necessarily off-putting or offensive, the sexy winter look is more of just confusing. The makeshift costume, which consisted of a red bra with matching skirt, plastic heels and a white boa, c...

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown ! "There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin."

Fall is filled with some of our favorite annual rituals, like apple picking, pumpkin decorating, and leaf peeping. But no autumn is complete without the most sacred of traditions: a viewing of It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. While the film's  50th anniversary celebration  was two years ago, you can still throw a viewing party with  these surprising fun facts about the film  and by  reliving the movie's best quotes.  Lucy Van Pelt: "A person should always choose a costume which is in direct contrast to her own personality." Linus: "You've heard of the fury of a woman scorned, haven't you?" Charlie Brown: "Yeah, I guess I have." Linus: "Well, that's nothing compared to a woman who has been cheated out of tricks-or-treats." Linus: "Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He's gotta pick this one. He's got to. I don't see how a pum...

Beyonce Saves Halloween For Tamar Braxton With These Stunning Pictures And Assists From Phoni And Toni

All hail the queens. Beyonce had the most beautiful tribute to living legend Toni Braxton who reigned during the 1990s with some dozens of unforgettable classics. The Texan diva decided to dress as Toni for Halloween, and Tamar Braxton could not resist but to jump on social media and applaud her for her gracious words towards Toni. Queen Bey killed it. She perfectly recreated Toni’s 1993 eponymous album cover with a similar pixie wig, white tank, jeans, leather jacket, and chain belts. Beyonce added some humor by calling herself Phoni Braxton a reference from the hit TV show, Martin. Beyonce penned a sweet note to Toni: “Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends. Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween, my Kings, and Queens.” ” Toni responded by: “Phoni Braxton!? NEVER!!! How do you look better than me on MY album cover? I LOVE IT, Such a supe...

Why Teal Pumpkins Are Everywhere This Halloween #KeepItTeal

Help everyone enjoy the holiday by offering allergy-friendly, non-food toys to trick-or-treaters at your house. If you've been paying attention to Halloween decor this season, you've probably noticed some teal pumpkins in the mix. These blue-green gourds look cool, but they're actually part of something much bigger: It's called the Teal Pumpkin Project, and it's an awesome way to include kids with food allergies and other conditions in all the trick-or-treating fun. By placing a teal pumpkin on your doorstep, you're letting the neighborhood know that your house has non-food treats available on Halloween night. You can paint a regular ol' pumpkin teal, but there are also inflatable teal pumpkins, Teal Pumpkin Project flags, teal pumpkin torches, teal pumpkin lawn signs and teal pumpkin treat buckets you can display. You can also add your home to the Food Allergy Research & Education's Teal Pumpkin Project map. The Teal Pumpkin Project is a ...
