Nick Cannon Unearths Homophobic Tweets From Sarah Silverman, Amy Schumer & Chelsea Chandler

After comedic actor #KevinHart stepped down from his Oscars hosting job because of past homophobic comments, #NickCannon evidently got to work. On Friday (December 7), the Wild ‘N Out star unearthed three controversial tweets from comedians #ChelseaHandler, #SarahSilverman, and #AmySchumer.

He was questioning why Hart received so much backlash when Handler, Silverman, and Schumer never caught any flak for their comments. In fact, they have all gone on to have undeniably successful careers.

.

“Interesting,” Cannon wrote alongside Handler’s 2010 “fag bird” tweet. “I wonder if there was any backlash here.”

Similarly, Cannon retweeted a 2010 tweet from Silverman which read: “I don’t mean this in a hateful way but the new bachelorette’s a faggot.” He then tacked one on from Schumer who tweeted in 2012, “Enjoy skyfall fags. I’m bout to get knee deep in Helen Hunt. #thesessions.”

When challenged by a Twitter user to “audit’ his own tweets, Cannon took responsibility for any of his past remarks and insisted he only speaks the truth.

“Nope!!” he wrote. “You know I’ve been saying fucked up shit since twitter started! I don’t play that politically correct bullshit! Fuck politics!! Only truth!”

Hart was expected to host the ceremony in February. An alternate host hasn’t been announced.

Kate Bush, The Dreaming : A Pitchfork Review

#KateBush # WutheringHeights # Lionheart # NeverforEver #TheDreaming In 1982, Kate Bush’s daring and dense fourth album marked her transformation into a fearless experimental artist who was legible, audibly very queer, and very obviously in love with pop music. In 1978, Kate Bush first hit the UK pop charts with “Wuthering Heights” off her romantic, ambitious progressive pop debut The Kick Inside. That same year, her more confident, somewhat disappointing follow-up Lionheart and 1980’s Never for Ever had a grip of charting singles that further grew her UK success without achieving mega-stardom—she barely cracked into American college rock. What is truly amazing between the first chapter of her career and the new one that began with 1982’s The Dreaming is how consistently Bush avoided the musical world around her, preferring to hone and blend her literary, film, and musical inspirations (Elton John, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd) into the idiosyncratic perfection that was 1985’s Ho
