First Downton Abbey movie trailer released giving inside glimpse at film [Video]

It’s one of the most eagerly-anticipated movies in years and now the first teaser trailer for the new #DowntonAbbey film has finally been released.

The short video shows cameras slowly panning around the sprawling mansion revealing the memorable and elaborate furniture, before telling viewers they are “cordially invited to the motion picture event”.

From the bells in the servants quarters to maids preparing the main bedrooms and even someone writing a private letter, there is a glimpse at some of the classic scenes being brought back to life.

Meanwhile, some of the servants are seen lining up outside to greet guests – appearing to be Mr Carson and Mrs. Hughes as well as Bates, among others.

Fans loved the short video, with one commenting online: “I’VE MISSED THE THEME TUNE,” while another added: “I hate to admit this but hearing the theme again brought a tear to my eye. I missed this show.”

Meanwhile, another joked: “The only thing I’m looking forward to in 2019.”

While the plot of the film has been kept a closely guarded secret, some of the main stars have been sharing sneak peeks behind the scenes over the last few months – helping fans to piece together a picture of what they can expect.

Set in 1926 – one year after the final episode – the movie is expected to be an emotional rollercoaster picking up where the TV series left off with almost the entire original cast returning.

It will once again take place inside the walls of Highclere Castle, as Anna Bates actress Joanne Frogatt previously shared an inside photo from behind the cameras inside Lady Mary’s bedroom.

It showed a shot between takes of an actress, appearing to be Lady Edith star Laura Carmichael, having her makeup touched up while sat in full period costume with her hair in her signature short, curled do.

Kate Bush, The Dreaming : A Pitchfork Review

#KateBush # WutheringHeights # Lionheart # NeverforEver #TheDreaming In 1982, Kate Bush’s daring and dense fourth album marked her transformation into a fearless experimental artist who was legible, audibly very queer, and very obviously in love with pop music. In 1978, Kate Bush first hit the UK pop charts with “Wuthering Heights” off her romantic, ambitious progressive pop debut The Kick Inside. That same year, her more confident, somewhat disappointing follow-up Lionheart and 1980’s Never for Ever had a grip of charting singles that further grew her UK success without achieving mega-stardom—she barely cracked into American college rock. What is truly amazing between the first chapter of her career and the new one that began with 1982’s The Dreaming is how consistently Bush avoided the musical world around her, preferring to hone and blend her literary, film, and musical inspirations (Elton John, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd) into the idiosyncratic perfection that was 1985’s Ho
