RuPaul’s Drag Race: 15 Queens Rumored To Return For All-Stars (And 5 Who Never Will)

2018 was a very busy year for RuPaul’s Drag Race fans. In January, Drag Race: All-Stars 3 aired, featuring fan favorites such as Trixie Mattel, Shangela, Kennedy Davenport, Aja, and BenDeLaCreme. Ultimately, the crown went to Trixie, in a controversial finale that fueled the anger among many fans.
Then, Drag Race season 10 started immediately after, in March, featuring what was perhaps the strongest lineup of queens the show has ever seen. In the end, Aquaria was crowned the winner, defeating runner-ups Eureka O’Hara, Asia O’Hara, and Kameron Michaels.
While there are still no release dates for Drag Race season 11 and All-Stars 4, both seasons have already been green-lit by VH1. Moreover, according to various sources, both seasons are being shot this summer, and have tentative release dates for early 2019. After ten years of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the franchise has a seemingly endless lineup of queens to choose from and cast for All-Stars. If the All-Stars 3 casting of season 1 winner BeBe Zahara Benet and season 2 contestant Morgan McMichaels was any indication, fans can certainly count on seeing more seasoned queens featured on this spinoff.
On the other hand, it certainly seems like queens from seasons 9 and 10 are poised to take over All-Stars 4. There are countless contestants from those two seasons who are willing to compete once again and, this time, avoid the mistakes that sent them home the first time.
This is RuPaul’s Drag Race: 15 Queens Rumored To Return For All-Stars (And 5 Who Never Will).

20 RUMORED: VALENTINA

Perhaps the biggest star to have come from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 was Valentina. The queen even received the Miss Congeniality award during the season’s reunion episode. However, that title was contested by fellow contestant Aja, who renamed the award to “Fan Favorite.”
When it came time to All-Stars 3, many deemed Valentina as a sure pick. Instead, Aja was the season 9 queen who made it to the season. It does seem like Valentina was invited to the season, but that she denied the invitation to focus on touring.
When asked about her absence from All-Stars 3 and the possibility of her joining All-Stars 4Valentina replied, “This is not a ‘no,’ it is just a ‘not right now.’ If the opportunity comes again… hello!

19 RUMORED: MONIQUE HEART

Facts are facts, America! There is no doubt that Monique Heart was the narrator of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10. Her elimination, while fair, left many fans wanting to see more of this Missouri-based queen.
With a bigger budget coming from touring and selling merchandise, it seems like Monique would be unstoppable.
Thus, All-Stars would seem like the perfect fit for the queen, right?
Well, Monique Heart seems to be interested, too. When asked about the possibility of her coming on to All-StarsMonique said, “You know, the Bible says, ‘pray.’ So I need y’all to touch and agree, and pray with me, that I get on All-Stars 4.” Then, she also said that it would be nice to be on the show with all of her outfits ready, having solely to focus on learning lyrics and twirling on stage.

18 NEVER WILL: WILLAM

Willam has historically not been shy about calling out what she considered an unfair treatment from World of Wonder, the production company behind the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise. “It’s impossible for me to be happy working with people who don’t treat others the way they want to be treated,” the queen has said.
When the cast of All-Stars 2 was announced, many fans were shocked to see that Willam was not among the contestants. Then, All-Stars 3 came, and once again the contestant was not featured.
At this point, it seems evident that Willam will most likely never come back to the Drag Race franchise. Moreover, up until now, she has been the only contestant to have been sent home for breaking the rules.

17 RUMORED: SHEA COULEE

Despite the fact that Sasha Velour earned her crown during an unforgettable lip-sync on the season 9 finale, there is no doubt that many fans wanted – and expected – Shea Coulee to be crowned the winner of that season. However, not winning a regular Drag Race season does have its advantages, such as having the possibility of being featured on All-Stars.
Just like Valentina, it seems very certain that Shea Coulee is a season 9 queen with all of the right reasons to come back for All-Stars.
Moreover, the queen certainly seems to be entertaining the idea. While she had a huge impact on her season, she ultimately did not win it. All-Stars can be her chance to have a Ru-demption, just like Chad Michaels, Alaska, and Trixie Mattel had.

16 RUMORED: NAOMI SMALLS

Naomi Smalls is a young and talented “look queen” who reminds fans of Violet Chachki and Aquaria. However, unlike the aforementioned contestants, Naomi did not win her season. Instead, Bob the Drag Queen was crowned in season 8.
All-Stars could be the perfect opportunity for Naomi Smalls to remind fans of her talents and possibly join the Drag Race Hall of Fame alongside Chad Michaels, Alaska, and Trixie Mattel. According to online speculation, the queen does not have any events booked for the entire month of July, which is when the All-Stars 4 shooting is supposedly taking place.
It is entirely possible for Naomi Smalls to be featured on the fourth All-Stars season, representing her season 8 lineup.

15 RUMORED: DARIENNE LAKE

With all of the success that BenDeLaCreme enjoyed on All-Stars 3, it seems entirely possible for another season 6 queen to come back to the Drag Race franchise: Darienne Lake, the only contestant to have ever sent Ben home.
Darienne Lake is one of those contestants that nearly all Drag Race fans believe should’ve gone farther in the competition.
Moreover, the queen has certainly been kept in the loop within the franchise and was even featured on the season 10 premiere alongside other memorable past contestants.
As All-Stars 4 begins to film this July, many fans have begun to speculate whether Darienne Lake will be brought back. What’s more, it is long overdue to crown a plus-size drag queen on the show, which once again did not happen on season 10.

14 NEVER WILL: THE VIXEN

More than any other contestant in recent history, The Vixen is certainly not in tune with the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise, nor does she have anything nice to say about RuPaul himself.
The queen walked out of the season 10 reunion, was careful about posting anything Drag Race-related on social media and even held an hour-long live stream to set her record straight about what happened during her time on the show.
Needless to say, The Vixen seems to be pursuing other paths for her career. It certainly seems like she is not interested in being All-Stars. Conversely, it also does not seem like RuPaul or his team wants to invite The Vixen to All-Stars 4.

13 RUMORED: MONET X CHANGE

Monet X Change had a great run on Drag Race season 10. Just like Monique Heart, Monet conquered the hearts of millions of fans and is set to have a very successful touring career after being on television.
To her surprise, she was crowned the Miss Congeniality of season 10, which certainly seems to be setting her up for an All-Stars 4 presence.
Then, even more, evidence came as a Facebook post announced that all of Monet X Change’s July and August events had been postponed to October. With All-Stars 4 shooting between July and August, it seems incredibly curious that Monet would have any other reason to postpone so many gigs.
We can only hope there are even more sponges on All-Stars 4!

12 RUMORED: PEARL

Will Pearl bring her “flazéda” to All-Stars? This season 7 runner-up became known for being a “sleepy queen” who, unlike fellow contestant Violet Chachki, was not able to show the judges all of her talents. However, Pearl’s drag has evolved significantly since she was first on the show, which means that RuPaul is most likely already eyeing her for a potential Ru-turn to the franchise.
As of recently, Pearl has been somewhat inactive on her social media. The queen’s Instagram account has been filled with videos and pictures that could have been shot at some point in the past. Thus, Drag Race fans are being led to believe that Pearl could, by all accounts, be featured on All-Stars 4.

11 RUMORED: FARRAH MOAN

Farrah Moan hasn’t been shy about her involvement with the Drag Race franchise. As a matter of fact, she was heavily featured on the season 10 premiere and was even given the opportunity to have a conversation with Christina Aguilera backstage.
After having met, Christina and Farrah collaborated again during a Los Angeles Gay Pride event, furthering their friendship even more.
Farrah also attended the season 10 finale and was regularly shown by the cameras.
It certainly seems like Farrah Moan is actively pursuing an All-Stars feature, and that the Drag Race production team is willing to give it to her. Maybe we will get some more ugly cries from Farrah on All-Stars 4?

10 NEVER WILL: TYRA SANCHEZ

If there is one queen that RuPaul is certainly not fond of anymore, it is Tyra Sanchez, the winner of Drag Race season 2.
After season 1 winner BeBe Zahara Benet was featured on All-Stars 3, it seemed like the obvious route to have Tyra come back for All-Stars 4. However, Tyra was recently banned from DragCon and expressed unhappiness with the franchise. After the season 10 reunion aired and the world saw The Vixen walk out, Tyra Sanchez shared a long statement online. In it, the queen detailed exactly why she was no longer happy to be a part of Drag Race history, and no longer was trying to pursue a relationship with RuPaul.
It seems like a very safe bet to assume that Tyra Sanchez will never, ever be on an All-Stars season.

RUMORED: TRINITY TAYLOR

Season 9 was full of Drag Race superstars, but only Aja has (so far) made it to All-Stars. Besides Shea Coulee, Farrah Moan, and Valentina, there is yet another rumored queen to be in conversation regarding a presence on All-Stars, and that is Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor.
Trinity Taylor has explicitly stated that she was invited to All-Stars 3 but said no. However, she also said that she is “going to do it next time they have All-Stars,” which certainly seems to position her as someone who will be featured on the fourth season of the show.
Additionally, rumors have already made their rounds on the Internet saying that Trinity has already accepted an offer to be on the next season.

RUMORED: REBECCA GLASSCOCK

Rebecca Glasscock placed third on the very first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. With BeBe Zahara Benet’s inclusion on All-Stars 3, it certainly seems like the franchise has opened its doors to featuring more season 1 contestants once again. What’s more, on the season 10 finale, the original Drag Race contestants received a massive acclaim.
Over the years, fans have been clamoring to have Ongina on an All-Stars season. However, according to online rumors, it seems like Rebecca Glasscock has been booked for All-Stars 4 instead.
This Puerto Rican queen is known for never having lost a lip-sync, a feat that only three other queens have achieved: Willam, Jujubee, and Darienne Lake.
Maybe she can keep winning lip-syncs and send queens home on the next All-Stars, then.

RUMORED: JOSLYN FOX

Perhaps RuPaul wants to keep it Foxy for All-Stars 4.
Joslyn Fox is one of the rumored queens to be featured on the next RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars season.
This season 6 contestant was a fierce competitor who certainly has more to bring to the franchise than what she showed many years ago.
In addition, that season was crowded with massive stars such as Bianca Del Rio, Adore Delano, and Courtney Act, barely giving any other queens the chance to shine brighter.
Because All-Stars seasons are all about redemptions, it seems like the perfect fit for Joslyn Fox to be featured on an upcoming season and be given a chance to elevate her career even more.

NEVER WILL: COURTNEY ACT

Courtney Act competed on the first season of Australian Idol, then was a runner-up on the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, then went on to win the twenty-first season of Celebrity Big Brother in the United Kingdom.
With so many accomplishments under her belt, Courtney would seem like the most perfect fit for an All-Stars season. However, it also seems very evident that the queen is not interested in such.
Particularly after winning Celebrity Big Brother and crossing over into the mainstream world, Courtney Act seems very uninterested in becoming attached to the Drag Race franchise once again. Moreover, it would certainly be awkward for Courtney to be judged by Michelle Visage – who lost to her on Celebrity Big Brother – on Drag Race.

RUMORED: MANILA LUZON

After having competed in the third season of Drag Race and the first season of All-Stars, it certainly seems like Manila Luzon has already exhausted her chances of being back on the franchise. However, Manila has been actively involved with RuPaul and his production team over the years, and might just be the right queen to get yet another chance to compete on All-Stars.
Also, the same excuse that RuPaul had for BeBe Zahara Benet could apply to Manila Luzon. Technically, the first season of All-Stars was just as odd and bad as the first season of Drag Race. Thus, it seems conceivable for the queens of that cast to potentially come back to the show and compete.

RUMORED: JESSICA WILD

Over time, fans have not been shy about their adoration for Jessica Wild, and how they believe she would be the perfect fit for a Drag Race: All-Stars season.
Trixie Mattel, who went on to win All-Stars 3, failed miserably while impersonating RuPaul during the season’s “Snatch Game” challenge. Well, it helps to remember who was the first queen to have taken that chance: Jessica Wild, all the way back on season 2. Like Trixie, Jessica also did a very poor job, but went down in history for having the courage to impersonate RuPaul right in front of him.
With so many of the original queens returning to the Drag Race franchise, it is only fair for Jessica Wild to get the chance to show her talents to a brand-new audience that may not have watched the show in 2009.

NEVER WILL: CARMEN CARRERA

During her transitioning, Carmen Carrera expressed in a very public way her distaste for the Drag Race segment that was then called “She-Mail,” which was a pun on a derogatory term for trans women. However, as a contestant on the series, it was not expected for Carmen to position herself so opposite to the show and RuPaul himself.
In a way, Carmen Carrera became the very first contestant of RuPaul’s Drag Race to have a public beef with RuPaul and his franchise. Her statements forced the show to rename its segment and opened a discussion regarding whether Drag Race had transphobic tendencies.
The Drag Race franchise and RuPaul are not very fond of Carmen Carrera for all the damage she caused on the show.
On the other hand, Carmen does not seem interested in competing on All-Stars, either.

RUMORED: GIA GUNN

Gia Gunn served some fresh tilapia on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 6, and it is no secret that the queen “absolutely” wants a spot on All-Stars.
Over the years, Gia Gunn has made sure to keep herself in the conversation when it comes to the Drag Race franchise.
During an interview with Alaska for The Pit Stop web-series, Gia literally stated: “see you on All-Stars 4, sweets.” There is ample indication that the queen would like to be featured on the show once again. However, Gia recently undergone surgery to complete her transition, and the show has yet to make a decision whether it will be featuring more trans contestants. That decision is a particularly difficult topic, especially after RuPaul’s recent controversy.

RUMORED: APRIL CARRION

If All-Stars 3 proved anything is that a Latina drag queen can bring more flare to the competition. Thus, fans have been heavily speculating that April Carrion deserved to be featured on an upcoming All-Stars season, particularly after having been such a memorable contestant from season 6.
April Carrion had to live through 2017’s Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, which is certainly a narrative that would fit perfectly on Drag Race: All-Stars 4.
On her Instagram, April has been pretty mum about events or bookings for July, which may indicate that she will be filming the new All-Stars season. If Valentina does make it to the show as well, it would be interesting to see her competing with a more seasoned Latina queen such as April.
Who do you hope to see on RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars season 4?
