Kathy Griffin, Alyssa Milano, and others react to Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court confirmation: 'What a terrible day in American history'

It’s official: Judge Brett Kavanaugh, soon to be Justice Kavanaugh, has been confirmed to the Supreme Court of the United States. (He has strongly denied misconduct claims.)
Celebrities such as Kathy GriffinChelsea HandlerLena Dunham, and more were quick to express disappointment and disgust Saturday after the Senate’s final vote of 50 to 48, confirming the embattled judge to the nation’s highest court.
Alyssa Milano, who has been vocal about her own experience with sexual assault and attended Christine Blasey Ford’s hearing last week, shared a lengthy post about this “sad day for America.”
