How Julie Chen stood by husband Les Moonves with just one word

By Kylie Mar, Yahoo Entertainment -September 13, 2018
Julie Chen returned to her hosting duties on Big Brother Thursday night after taking the week off from The Talk, following her husband Les Moonves‘s exit from CBS.
On Sunday, Moonves stepped down from the network as six more women had come forward with sexual harassment and abuse allegations. Before Monday’s broadcast of The Talk, Chen released a statement, saying, “I am taking a few days off from The Talk to be with my family. I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on Big Brother.” While that live episode started with Chen acting as if everything was completely normal, she did something at the end that threw viewers for a loop.
“From outside the Big Brother house with Brett, I’m Julie Chen-Moonves,” she said Chen as she closed the show. It was the first time that Chen had ended Big Brother with “Julie Chen-Moonves,” and people definitely noticed. Some shared their shock on Twitter:

the biggest blindside this episode was julie calling herself julie chen moonves

"From outside the Big Brother house, I'm Julie Chen-MOONVES. Goodnight." Oh, damn.
While others supported Chen’s statement with tweets like:

Looks like Julie Chen MOONVES is unshakably standing by her man, for better or worse. I can't place blame on her for what her husband may or may not have done. I have to wish her well no matter what.

she really threw that Julie Chen Moonves in there to let these hoes know what time it is. she's a rider.
Some people were ready to cancel Chen, as they tweeted:

“I’m Julie Chen-Moonves.”
She really is proud to be married to a sexual abuser.

Julie girl, you are officially cancelled.

Tonight, Julie Chen signed off Big Brother as Julie Chen Moonves, firmly standing w/her husband, a serial sexual assaulter who ruined careers. She is complicit.

Because of this, I will no longer put any of my clients on @TheTalkCBS.

Fellow publicists, I hope you stand with me.
Some even thought Chen’s statement might lead to her resignation or firing.

I think that Julie must want to be evicted from CBS with her statement tonight: “And I’m Julie Chen-Moonves, goodnight.”

Julie Chen-Moonves. Pretty much just confirmed this will be her last season of BB.

"I'm Julie Chen Moonves" sounds a lot like "This is my two weeks notice."

Kate Bush, The Dreaming : A Pitchfork Review

#KateBush # WutheringHeights # Lionheart # NeverforEver #TheDreaming In 1982, Kate Bush’s daring and dense fourth album marked her transformation into a fearless experimental artist who was legible, audibly very queer, and very obviously in love with pop music. In 1978, Kate Bush first hit the UK pop charts with “Wuthering Heights” off her romantic, ambitious progressive pop debut The Kick Inside. That same year, her more confident, somewhat disappointing follow-up Lionheart and 1980’s Never for Ever had a grip of charting singles that further grew her UK success without achieving mega-stardom—she barely cracked into American college rock. What is truly amazing between the first chapter of her career and the new one that began with 1982’s The Dreaming is how consistently Bush avoided the musical world around her, preferring to hone and blend her literary, film, and musical inspirations (Elton John, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd) into the idiosyncratic perfection that was 1985’s Ho
