Backstage Footage Of Her and JAY-Z's On The Run II Tour: Watch

by Hilary Hughes, Billboard -9/23/2018
The Carters are nearing the end of their On The Run II Tour, and Beyoncé has posted a sweet behind-the-scenes video of her and JAY-Z to mark the occasion.
The latest international trek for the power couple began back in June in the U.K., but now there are only five more shows left on the itinerary -- a fact that Hov himself can't believe as we see in this backstage reel.
With a bird's eye view of the Carter's massive touring caravan and a long look at Bey and Jay as they make their way to places and prepare to make their grand entrance, it's a calm glimpse before the high-voltage storm of their performance and a rare look at the Carter's life on the road.
The jaunt recently crossed the $150 million mark, having grossed $150.7 million and counting shortly following their sold-out concerts in Minneapolis and Detroit back in August. The On The Run II Tour wraps at Seattle's CenturyLink Field on Oct. 4.

In 1978, Kate Bush first hit the UK pop charts with “Wuthering Heights” off her romantic, ambitious progressive pop debut The Kick Inside. That same year, her more confident, somewhat disappointing follow-up Lionheart and 1980’s Never for Ever had a grip of charting singles that further grew her UK success without achieving mega-stardom—she barely cracked into American college rock. What is truly amazing between the first chapter of her career and the new one that began with 1982’s The Dreaming is how consistently Bush avoided the musical world around her, preferring to hone and blend her literary, film, and musical inspirations (Elton John, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd) into the idiosyncratic perfection that was 1985’s Ho
