The current world population is 7.6 billion

7.6 billion #GlobalPopulation #UnitedNations #WorldNews #WorldPopulation The current world population is 7.6 billion as of September 2018 according to the most recent United Nations estimates elaborated by Worldometers. The report also predicted that the global population would be higher by mid-century than its last edition forecast two years ago, reaching 9.31 billion instead of 9.15 billion. It attributed this to fewer deaths as well as more births than it had anticipated. The October date for reaching the 7 billion mark is based on calculations from current trends and Hania Zlotnik, head of the U.N. economic department's population division, said it should be taken "with a grain of salt." Nevertheless, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) announced it would start a seven-day countdown on October 24 that would include a series of events. The Dark Past of Sea Monkeys

#JustAddWater #SeaMonkeys This is the story of how a tiny, magical creature was transformed into a cultural phenomenon by an inventor, marketing genius and complicated eccentric Harold von Braunhut. Full of fun facts (both charming and disturbing), Just Add Water is a colorful short film about a half-century of marketing directly to children, the force of nostalgia in pop culture, and an unlikely meeting of flim-flam and hard science. A film by Penny Lane. This Great Big Film was made in collaboration with our friends at CNN Films. By Great Big Story, Published on Dec 27, 2016

The controversial sex toy that shook up CES 2019 is finally ready

#Osé #Sextoy #orgasam #LoraHaddock #CES Osé , the sex toy that received a CES Innovation Award, lost it, and then won it back again, is finally ready to pre-order. The device  sparked a debate about gender bias  in the tech industry and what can, and cannot, be exhibited at the world's biggest tech trade show. Now, a year on from making headlines across the world, the device is finally available for pre-order. Osé is a massager offering "blended orgasms," that stimulate a person inside and outside their body at the same time. Creator Lora Haddock said that after experiencing one for the first time, the former Navy officer quit pre-med to build a device that could make them. She also harnessed modern research on how women's pleasure is derived, rather than relying upon outdated notions about how their bodies work. Her research led her to conclude that there were no toys on the market that offered a blended orgasm, and so she tracked down a robot...
